Our 2011 Pumpkin Patch for Charity made $5,100

Thank you everyone!
We were able to collect over $5,100 for 2011
Thanks again for supporting our
Pumpkin Patch for Charity on San Juan Ave

Some highlights were:
Steve Cassar volunteered his time, gas and trailer for which without his support were not sure if we could have this wonderful charity pumpkin patch. Volunteers from facebook joined us. We met a ton of new people that love this idea and helped by supporting us with unloading pumpkins which is always apprecatied!! We were listed on the santacruzpatch.com as one of the 5 top pumpkin patches in Santa Cruz.

Thanks again folks and we'll see you in the patch next year!

Steve Cassar - a True local Hero in my book

The San Juan Community Pumpkin Patch for Charity has been around for well over 23 years raising thousands of dollars for local charities, school classrooms, Scouts and many many other organizations that do good things for good causes. One of the Pumpkin Patches "Super Hero" volunteers is local Santa Cruz resident Steve Cassar. Every year Steve lends his time, truck and trailer to support our local charity pumpkin patch.I'm here to say that without Steve's support and help, our long history of the patch might have ended back in 2005.That's when Steve heard the call that without volunteers and a big trailer to carry pumpkins from the farm.. the patch would have to close.Steve stepped up and hasn't looked back.I personally voted Steve into my Pumpkin Patch Hall of volunteerism Fame and truly appreciate everything he does in support of our patch.

The Pumpkin Patch does one thing and we do it well. We enable our local San Juan community to participate in the greater good of donating back to special causes all the while getting some wonderful Pumpkins for the season.

Steve Cassar and his wonderful support for our Charity Pumkin Patch helps make it go along with everyone else who supports it by coming, picking up pumpkins and making a donation.

It's the honor system working at its best.

Thanks Steve, your the man brother!
